General Description: Comfort is pretty much the driving force in Ian's wardrobe. Hoodies, t-shirts, relaxed jeans (never tight), and sneakers make up his day-to-day wear. He owns few dress shirts and slacks, but there are a couple floating around in his wardrobe. His most favorite pair of shoes are these old Converse that are literally falling apart. He's got them held together with duct tape. His hair is generally kept pretty short, but is often unstyled. He does not like messing with it. The boy's got pale skin, but were he to decide to spend more time outdoors, he can tan a little, though generally he just turns red then returns to white. He bruises really easily, and his clumsiness doesn't help that.[/blockquote]

General Description: The one thing that everyone who has ever met Ian can agree on is that the boy is hyperactive and talkative. It is just part of his personality, more than his ADHD. The boy is all smiles, jokes, and sarcasm. He likes to prank his friends, and to just hang out with them in his free time (between random study sessions on things that aren't related to school, and attempts at training). He's a bit of a nerd, but he does not care. He enjoys it. Learning is one of his favorite things. Ian's the type of boy that can make friends with just about anybody, if they can handle his bubbly, touchy (seriously, personal space knows no bounds) personality. At the same time, though, this is the boy that is more broken than he lets people realize. He has really just been lost since his mother's disappearance. He takes care of his dad to the best of his ability, but he tries not to show the hurt he feels. He hides the fact that he has anxiety and panic attacks that coincide with his abandonment issues. It's part of why he doesn't open up to people about the bad things, worrying if they saw, they'd want to leave.[/blockquote]

Father: John Days, 39, deputy.
Siblings: None.
Pets: None.
Other: None.
History: Ashley Ian Days was born to a human father and a witch mother. His dad did not know of this until Ian was around five and he started to show signs of having magical abilities. His mother sat her husband down and explained everything, about how the Harris family (who was their neighbors, and Mrs. Harris was her good friend) were werewolves and that it had been the town secret for generations. John took the information rather well, really, and treated his family no different. He still loved them, after all. She was to be the one to teach him, to make sure he got a good grasp on his skills. The kid struggled a bit more than some because of his inattention and inability to focus for too long. He could make himself if he really wanted to, though. Everything changed just after Ian's tenth birthday.
He came home to an empty house where his mother was usually waiting for him after school while his dad was at work. Thinking she was just out back or something, Ian rushed upstairs to do his homework before dinner time so that he could play video games after; but, when he went downstairs to ask his mother about dinner, she wasn't there. Ian panicked and when he could not find her, he ran next door to the Harris house, hoping that maybe she was visiting them. He had no real idea what was going on as his friend's mother called the police or as he was questioned about what he knew by them. He did not know anything. Nothing was right at all as he and his dad fell asleep on the couch, leaning against one another, each one hoping that every sound outside was his mother coming back.
She never came back. Seven years passed, and Ian found himself facing the beginning of his senior year. He was going to pass and be at the top of his class. He had a part time job, and he was learning some magic from the high school principal, and the English teacher. The sadness he felt when she left was still there, only it had grown. It had also started to turn into something more bitter, darker and something that could be dangerous if applied right. Ian kept it hidden, though, locked up deep behind his smile and rambling words about random things. He was moving on, or trying to, no matter how much it hurt to feel so dejected.[/blockquote]
